SuCoHS in Polymer Bulletin!

The article entitled “Properties and structure of high temperature resistant cyanate ester/polyethersulfone blends using solventfree toughening approach” was published on the 25th of November 2020 in the Polymer Bulletin.

The paper showcases the results of the investigations led in the SuCoHS project by the teams of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), North Thin Ply Technology (NTPT) and the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

A high temperature resistant novolac cyanate ester was blended with polyethersulfone (PES) with different molecular weights using the solvent-free approach. The phase separation, curing behavior and thermal properties were studied using hot stage microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and dynamic mechanical analysis.
